Up, Up and Away
Yokefellow Ministry
Every third Thursday of the month from 12pm-2pm, Yokefellow Ministries sets up in the Church parking lot. While they serve physical nourishment, our Pastor is here with them and provides Spiritual Nourishment through prayer to those who come as well.

With "Big Oh! Balloons" not far from our church, you never know when you might see a hot air balloon passing by. Beautiful May afternoon and Beautiful photo opportunity!!
Rev. Darren Custer came to fill the pulpit for us in April and May of 2024. Sunday June 2nd we welcomed him as Pastor. Check out his information in the Leadership Section and come meet him, as well as our congregation Sundays @ 9:30am.
Our church sign has had some work done to it. Pressure washed, new decals including the official name change to Community Church and a decal representing our affiliation with the Global Methodist Church. God is on the move!!
2025 Graduates
We recognized two graduates on Sunday June 29th 2025, Shawn Drye and Lilli Beaty. Shawn a high school graduate received a bible and Lilli a college grad from UNC @ Chapel Hill received a devotional. A special lunch fellowship was held at 1:00pm to celebrate with them!
Ordination
On Saturday June 28th 2025 Pastor Darren was Ordained a Deacon at the NC Annual Conference of the Global Methodist Church! Praise the Lord!!
